Induction Seal Liners
Aluminium-foil membranes heat-sealed to your container mouth by an induction sealer — tamper-evident, leak-proof, matched to the exact resin of your bottle.
How it seals
An induction seal liner is a multi-layer membrane whose aluminium foil is heated by your induction sealer for a fraction of a second, welding the heat-seal layer to the container rim. The result is a hermetic, tamper-evident seal that cannot be re-closed once opened — the standard answer for anything that must not leak in transit, oxidise on the shelf or be tampered with.
The seal is only as good as the match between the heat-seal layer and the plastic of your bottle. That is why we formulate the seal layer to your container resin — PE for PE bottles, PET for PET, PP, PS, PVC or multi-layer COEX — and use hot-melt (wax) structures for glass. Send us the bottle and we engineer the build-up around it.
We make four builds: one-piece (foil laminated to the backing, both stay on the bottle after opening), two-piece (membrane bonds to the container, backing ring stays in the cap), separate-type easy-peel (a six-layer structure that peels cleanly in one piece) and high-barrier grades for aggressive chemical fills.
Specification
| Sealing method | Induction heat sealing (foil + heat-seal layer) |
|---|---|
| Builds | One-piece · two-piece · separate-type (easy-peel) · high-barrier |
| Heat-seal layer | PE, PET, PP, PS, PVC, multi-layer COEX — matched to the container |
| Glass containers | Hot-melt (wax) structures |
| Diameter | 9–182 mm, custom die-cut shapes |
| Thickness | 0.2–1.7 mm total · aluminium foil 0.02–0.04 mm |
| Backing options | Paperboard, EPE / EVA foam, PET — to keep the liner in the cap |
| Branding | Surface printing, steel-stamp embossing, pull-tab, die-cut tab |
| MOQ | Varies with diameter and structure — send your container size for exact minimums |
| Packaging | PE bag inner, thickened corrugated carton outer (export packing) |
| Storage | −20 °C to 50 °C, away from direct sunlight |
| Lead time | Typically 7 days after order confirmation |
Two-piece build — membrane bonds to the container, backing ring stays in the cap
Separate-type (easy-peel) build — six layers, membrane peels cleanly on opening

Typical applications
Where this family is specified
| Lubricants & motor oil | One-piece foil laminates for PE and PET oil bottles; printed opening instructions optional |
|---|---|
| Agrochemicals | High-barrier gold and plain builds resistant to solvents and surfactants |
| Food, edible oil & spices | Food-contact builds, clean-peel separate-type structures |
| Pharmaceuticals & nutraceuticals | Cleanroom assembly, tamper-evident one-piece and pull-tab structures |
| Cosmetics & household chemicals | Printed or embossed branding, matched to PP and PE cap resins |
Choosing the right build
If your filling line already has an induction sealer, start from the container: tell us the bottle resin, neck finish and what you fill, and we propose the build-up. If you seal glass, or fill aggressive formulations such as ketone or benzene-family solvents, strong acidic or alkaline products, we test against your actual product before confirming the structure — sealing performance on these fills is always verified by test, not assumed.
Not sure whether you need one-piece or two-piece? The rule of thumb: one-piece keeps the whole liner on the bottle neck after opening (visible tamper evidence, nothing left in the cap), two-piece leaves a clean backing ring inside the cap that also reseals the bottle between uses. We sample both so you can test on your own line before committing.
